YOU DON'T KNOW
WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.
MEMBLIT DOES.

Other platforms get you to learn by getting you to ask AI.
Our platform gets AI to ask you.

Memblit doesn't ask you to remember. It makes you produce, in your own words, and tells you, with a number, exactly how far your confidence is from your actual knowledge. Essay graders score what you already wrote. Flashcard apps test what you recognize. Memblit asks how sure you are first — so it can catch the wrong answers you were confident about, the ones you'd never think to restudy.

THE STUDY ILLUSION

You reread your notes. They make sense. You feel ready.

You flip through your flashcards. You remember the answer the second you see the cue. You feel confident.

Then the exam gives you the question without the cue. Without the highlighted sentence. Without the answer sitting three inches away. And the knowledge you were so sure you had is not there.

This isn't a willpower problem. It's a measurement problem. Cognitive scientists have known for fifty years that rereading and recognizing feel like learning but aren't. The study tools you use don't measure the confidence-accuracy gap — Memblit does.

HOW MEMBLIT WORKS

  1. 01

    YOU PRODUCE, NOT RECOGNIZE

No cards to flip. Memblit gives you a prompt from your own material and asks you to answer it cold, in your own words, typed or spoken. This single change is the difference between reading an answer and knowing it.

  2. 02

    WE MEASURE THE GAP

Before you answer, you tell us how confident you are. After you answer, Memblit tells you how right you actually were. The distance between those two numbers is your Calibration Score. A low-confidence wrong answer is a known gap you'll naturally fix. A high-confidence wrong answer is dangerous because you won't know to restudy it. Our grading engine runs every answer through two independent scoring passes at temperature zero — and if they disagree by more than 8 points, a third pass breaks the tie. Because if you can't trust the grade, the whole product is worthless.

  3. 03

WE CLOSE IT WHERE IT'S WIDEST

Memblit doesn't just reschedule things you got wrong. It finds the concepts you're most overconfident about, the widest gaps, and forces you to discriminate between the specific ideas you keep confusing, timed around when your brain actually consolidates memory, not an arbitrary daily counter.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE, MAPPED.

Every concept you've ever produced an answer for lives in a structured graph we call the Memblit Ontology — a living map of what you actually know.

  • NODE Each node is a concept unit extracted from your own material.
  • EDGE Edges connect concepts that are commonly confused with each other — identified by embedding similarity and grading co-failure patterns.
  • GREEN Well-calibrated: you know it and you know you know it.
  • PINK Overconfident: you think you know it but you don't.

This isn't just a study history. While calibration training has strong theoretical and adjacent empirical grounding, Memblit is actively testing this graph-based application at scale. It's a digital twin of your knowledge — what you've proven, what you haven't, and where your brain keeps mixing things up. It compounds with every session and cannot be replicated by uploading the same notes to another app.

// WARNING · WHAT THIS TOOL REFUSES TO DO

WHAT MEMBLIT WILL NEVER DO

It will never give you an answer during a review. Not a hint dressed as a hint. An actual answer. The moment an AI hands you the explanation instead of making you produce it, the entire benefit disappears. A Wharton study found students given unrestricted AI help did better in practice and worse on the exam once the AI was taken away. We are not building that.

  • No streaks.
  • No leaderboards.
  • No points for showing up.
  • No AI that answers homework for you.

Just a number that tells you the truth about what you know.

QUESTIONS WE GET.

> IS THIS ANOTHER FLASHCARD APP?

No. There is nothing to flip. You produce an answer; Memblit checks it against your material and against your own stated confidence.

> WILL IT WRITE MY ESSAYS FOR ME?

No. Memblit is built to make you better at retrieving what you know, not to do the retrieving for you.

> WHAT DO YOU DO WITH MY NOTES?

Your uploaded material is used only to generate your own practice prompts. It is never used to train shared models, and you can delete it at any time.

> WHEN DO YOU LAUNCH?

Beta opens in Semester 2, 2026, to the first 20 members of our Founding cohort. Everyone else gets access on a rolling basis as we scale capacity — because grading quality matters more to us than growth speed.

> WHAT DOES IT COST?

Free while in beta. After launch, a student-only price, and it will never cost more than what you already pay for one streaming subscription.
